Zone Creations operates HP’S advanced plastics (or polyamide powder) 3D printing solution to address a broad range of health and environmental considerations throughout the life cycle of a print. The printer uses PA11, which is a biocompatible nylon material that is durable and flexible. PA11 HP is based on 100% renewable biomass sources. As PA11 is entirely derived from vegetable oil, it consumes less non-renewable resources and leaves a lower environmental impact. HP’s Multi Jet Fusion technology produces quality, functional parts at a production speed which is up to 10 times faster than today’s competing products. The process begins by applying a layer of material in a work area. In the opposite direction, in one continuous pass, we print fusing and detailing agents across the full working area. This pass combines the printing with diffusing energy and the process is then completed. HP’s proprietary architecture is capable of printing 30 million drops/second along every single inch of bed width, enabling extreme precision and dimensional accuracy.
We 3D Print On-demand components for Designers, Engineers & Makers, who use our services to manufacture one-offs, prototypes and production runs of end use parts. Zone Creations specialises in printing components in HP 3D High Reusability PA11, but we can print for large production runs on other materials such as PA12, PA12 Glass beads, PP enabled by BASF and TPA.
